When you look around at big growth SaaS, after a while, it turns from a passion project into work. You have to satisfy investors and other stakeholders.
When you look at SaaS that is bootstrapped, that passion of the founder never ebbs. It stays sharp and can propel the business forward. When you build something you are passionate about, it shows.
I am very curious about this one. We have talked about the ecosystem a lot. And seeing Affect standing up to address the levers in the ecosystem does two things:
1. Brings GTM professionals together to build and learn new ways to build
2. It creates a community of professionals not just talking about building, but actually building and refining go to market strategies and tactics.
Community is great. Community into action is better.
On a few Refine Labs calls long ago I actually mentioned a few times, sometimes in chat, The Goal, Six Sigma, blackbelts, and the manufacturing transformation that SAP drove to map proceses and said b2b marketing/gtm execution and metrics need that approach or it will never get fixed. I still have a copy of The Goal on my shelf. Consider reading Reengineering the Corporation which talks about rethinking end to end vs incremental changes. I still can't believe how little change has come in 4-5 years and how much dependence there is on the iften questionable SDR function/approach..looking forward to hearing more.
Ahh sounds like you were ahead of the times then 😉 will definitely have to check out reengineering the corporation in that case. But fully with you that we’re long overdue for something like this. Let me know what you think if/when you check Affect out!

Nice job standing this up
Yes would LOVE to see those last two things come about with this. Appreciate you being such a big part of all of this 💪
Little part - just a little push in the right direction maybe in an off hand comment in a LinkedIN chat... LOL
Just saw this re: SDR function..this or something like it needs to exist..that is if tge SDR function even survives. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/craigrosenberg_hire-sdrs-but-dont-have-them-engage-with-ugcPost-7453133894507319296-wEAo?utm_source=social_share_video_v2&utm_medium=android_app&rcm=ACoAAAA0wmEBd_A9LOS4br_mAWbVmS4CtlLsZy8&utm_campaign=copy_link
